Ways to Give
It takes a community to protect our precious lakes
Our waters are more at risk than ever before. One lake inside our watershed now suffers from an invasive plant infestation and an algal bloom.
Thank you to the generous supporters of the $30K for 30 Mile matching challenge. 137 donors stepped up in the final days of 2022 to help us raise $36,500 and exceed our goal! Your generosity ensures that our work for clean and healthy waters will not only continue, but expand to meet the growing challenges our watershed faces.
Once again, we’d like to give a shout out to the seven donors from Androscoggin Lake, Echo Lake, Flying Pond, Lovejoy Pond, Minnehonk Lake, Parker Pond, and Pocasset Lake who, collectively, made this opportunity possible by matching these gifts with an additional $30K.
Thank you to ALL of the generous lake lovers who supported 30 Mile this year! Your gifts of all sizes demonstrate your commitment to the lakes, ponds, and streams in our watershed. We are grateful for you and the many ways you show up as a community to help care for these precious resources.
Or mail your donation to 3o Mile River Watershed Association, P.O. Box 132, Mount Vernon, ME 04352 (postmarked by December 31st). Thank you!
