Our 2023 monitoring season is now well underway. Thanks to a generous grant from the John Sage Foundation, we are expanding our monitoring program to support a full season of bi-weekly baseline monitoring on Echo Lake, as well as increased data collection on four small ponds in our watershed (Hales, Kimball, Tilton and Whittier), monitoring a total of 13 lakes and ponds this season.
Our monitoring program could not exist without the volunteers that work alongside our staff each year. Trained volunteers can become certified to assist with data collection. Untrained volunteers are also vital, providing water access and/or a boat ride so that our certified staff can collect data and water samples.
