Our work wouldn’t be possible without the dedicated volunteers across all of our programs. This month, we would like to thank the volunteers who are part of our Courtesy Boat Inspection program.
49 volunteers played an important role as CBI’s, providing the first line of defense against invasives. They inspect boats and trailers for hitchhiking plants and animals and educate boaters about the threat of invasives across five boat launches for a total of 525 hours. Together, with our paid staff, over 3,801 inspections were completed!
