SUMMARY:Lake Association Leadership Roundtable
DESCRIPTION:Building on last year’s success\, 30 Mile is pleased to be hosting this year’s 2nd Annual Lake Association Leadership Roundtable\, bringing together board members from all nine lake associations in this watershed for collaboration.  \nProtecting our lakes and ponds takes a strong community—and great communication!  At last year’s roundtable\, we discussed that whether we’re recruiting volunteers\, combating aquatic invasives\, or increasing membership\, success depends upon how effectively we connect with our communities. In response to requests at last year’s event\, this year we will take a deep dive into communication. We’ll focus on actionable strategies to overcome common hurdles: engaging seasonal residents and younger generations\, strengthening digital communication platforms\, and sharing unified messaging\, like Clean\, Drain\, Dry. Come ready to share your association’s successes\, troubleshoot persistent outreach challenges\, and build practical tools to strengthen your lake association’s reach.  \nNote: This event has been rescheduled from its earlier August date. For more information\, please email Miriam at miriam@30mileriver.org.
